Rationale Sahir…

He was fed up with the people being killed and the violence during the partition and the situation when females were sold out for money and sexual offences, writes that —

These streets, these attractive auction houses (to sale humanity or females), where the life is getting looted, where are those guardians of the land, who say they are proud of India, where are they now? why do they not save these people from violence and crime? Call them where are they?

then in the same song he further describes how the people were killed on streets and how the female bodies were offended like animals and how humans were trafficked. and at the end he says again with the pain of what he had to see, while awakening the leaders of young India saying that– Please call the guides or creators of this nation (this way), and show them these streets, these places and these painful – blood shaded- horrifying scenes, please bring those who say they are proud of this nation, where are they now? Why do they not visit these poor victims, please bring them here, where are they?

  1. A painful thing which happened in our country
