Childhood

Mr Bhupendra saya

Those Kandeels in the childhood used to have more fragrance

Which cannot be found in the roses in the youth

The voices of  cuckoo used to be so sweet

Where can we find those songs of sparrows now?

Those were the days we could run bare feet

Now where is that shine in the sun light?

Those were the days we used to play football with the broken pieces of slippers

Where is that innocence lost in the present childhood?

There are some people who try to play those games in the sports world

But here is the game of joker or those circus we used to enjoy?

Those teachings our teachers used to teach us is missing

Those values are missing in the present education

None is there to tell us the tales

Where are the specs of grandma?

There are so many sweets we have eaten

But still missing the taste of granny’s Gazak

We used to cry a lot on the marriage of our dolls

But now those feelings are missing

There are so many games like pubji

But those arrows and other local games are missing

Those Kandeels in the childhood used to have more fragrance

Which cannot be found in the roses in the youth

The voices of  cuckoo used to be so sweet

Where can we find those songs of sparrows now?
