Missing moments!!

Life goes really fast, we never realise it unless we stop for a while and think about the moments we’ve already lived, especially the happy ones.

It’s true that time flies and memories remain. This picture is of my work place a year ago, where I worked and grown for three years. These happy kids near me are there to study and play with me. We learned so many things together from each other. They started talking in Hindi, learned many English meanings, started coming to school regularly after I started visiting their Basti (slums in villages). They belong to a nomadic tribes called Banjara and this Basti is situated outside my village, my father had to struggle a lot to get them settled there and get their indendity documents sanctioned despite the objection from the people from village and nearby town and also the government officials were not ready to do their work for these poor families.

He struggled for 13 years to get them land rights there, the one man army.

This is why these kids are like a family to me and they also were Learning happily But time has wings and none knows where is it going to take us. So we had to depart after my marriage when my fellowship was over, now I had to explore this world for standing on my feet so that I can support their cause too. Though after I was out personally I made sure their classes continue but Covid dismissed everything.

Now they call and ask for restart of their classes again. Though they got enrolled into school but neither they found it interesting nor schools are open.

Truly speaking they have also taught me a lot of things and their smiles and believe in me never let me get tired.

Kids are wonderful source of energy and the best part was that in these three years we learned many things that’s fine but they started asking so many questions and their curious minds have come out of hesitation, that was the most relaxing thing. Because I believe if this continues none can stop them to grow.

I miss them too.

These pictures are a beautiful part of my life, really grateful for that 😊. I’ll stop here with a hope to see them touch the sky.
