Apple has expanded its app, which allows customers to have their Face ID system repaired without replacing the entire device with the iPhone X, according to a memo released by MacRumors. ‌IPhone‌ X was initially excluded from the list for this application.

Apple launched the app last month, giving Apple stores and authorized repair shops access to parts for the TrueDepth camera system, enabling technicians to repair their ‌Face IDs without having to replace their entire phone. The application was originally only available for ‌iPhone‌ XS and later but has now been expanded to include ‌iPhone‌ X and consequently all iPhones with ‌Face ID‌.
