Top Loft: Luka Doncic of the Detroit Pistons – $ 12,000 DraftKings, $ 11,200 FanDuel
Luka has been great all year, but he is closing the season on a blowing heater. He has scored at least 30 points in five straight in a row and in that time he has scored an average of 33.8 points, 10.2 assists, 9.2 rebounds, 3.6 triples and 1.6 points, good for 61 , 3 fantasy points (63.3 on the field).
Tonight’s match against the Pistons gives Doncic a huge speed difference and his opponent a plus / minus. Despite a nine-point distribution in favor of Dallas, the Pistons are the best team against the distribution since Star Wars and should keep this competitive. Doncic went for 33/11/7 with two blocks and stole in one of his second meetings with Detroit this season.
Highest value: Ish Smith of the Atlanta Hawks – $ 4,800 DraftKings, $ 4,400 FanDuel
Smith led by 11 points, 14 dimes and eight rebounds in a surprise victory over the Timberwolves on Tuesday, teasing a triple-double and setting a maximum in assists this season.
In his last four, Smith has averaged 11.5 points, 8.8 dimes, 3.8 boards, 1.8 triples and 1.0 steals while playing over 27 minutes per game. In these competitions he has put better than 32 fantasy points in a game. The match against Haukarn tonight offers a favorable defensive game with Atlanta’s weak defense and the highest over / under on the table, 232 in total.
Top Air: Donovan Mitchell vs. Oklahoma City Thunder – $ 8,500 DraftKings, $ 8,300 FanDuel
It’s unclear who the Thunder will start against the Jazz tonight, but given the start of last night’s five, this should be a cake run for Spida. Oklahoma City trampled on Zavier Simpson, Georgios Kalaitzakis, Vit Krejci, Jaylen Hoard and Isaiah Roby so fast that it made the 2015-16 “Process” 76ers weak.
Mitchell has averaged more than 40 fantasy points in his last 10 races, averaging 24 points, 10 assists and four goalscorers when he met the Thunder a month ago. The pricing is ridiculous, so take advantage of the huge Opponent plus / minus and speed difference.
Highest value: Ayo Dosunmu vs. Boston Celtics – $ 3,900 DraftKings, $ 3,600 FanDuel
Dosunma’s very productive January / February stretch is in the background, but he is still a full-time starter who plays at least 30 minutes a night. It will be difficult for you to find such a player under $ 4K. Dosunmu has averaged over 20 fantasy points in his last two races and if Zach LaVine misses the second race in a row, Dosunmu’s prospects are even better.
Note: Dosunmu is eligible for PG on DraftKings and SG on FanDuel.
Top Loft: New York Knicks’ Kevin Durant – $ 11,300 DraftKings, $ 11,500 FanDuel
NBA fans should have their pop ready for tonight’s competition, with Kevin Durant playing in Madison Square Garden. This is a speed bump for Brooklyn but a solid plus / minus opponent against a Knicks team that has anything but packed in this season.
Durant is in third place all-time in points in a game against the Knicks at 29.5 and he scored 53 and 27 against them in two previous meetings this season. If you’re going to spend a star tonight, Durant is a great choice.
Highest value: Jaylen Hoard of the Utah Jazz – $ 5,000 DraftKings, $ 4,500 FanDuel
The third-year man from Wake Forest has certainly taken advantage of the playing time lately. He scored 24 points and took 21 rebounds in last night’s win over the Blazers and has averaged 17.5 points, 20.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointers in two starts. Fantasy directors should keep an eye on starting teams, and if Hoard starts again, fantasy directors should take note.
Top Loft: Chicago Bulls Jayson Tatum – $ 10,100 DraftKings, $ 9,400 FanDuel
Tatum is likely tonight, but the Celtics play a back-to-back set on Wednesday and Thursday, so be sure to check his position for a tip.
In March, Tatum averaged 32.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 4.2 triples. In those 13 games, he scored at least 50 fantasy points six times. He has a 94% economic rating on FanDuel and gets a positive opponent plus / minus with a solid speed difference.
Highest value: Obi Toppin vs. Brooklyn Nets – $ 5,600 DraftKings, $ 5,500 FanDuel
Aren’t you stopping Obi Toppin? He’s still very manageable on his current salary on each side, and he comes in on this one with two 20-point games in a row under his belt. In his last six starts, Toppin has averaged 17.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 triples and 1.4 points, good for 34.1 fantasy points. Tonight’s match against the Nets gives Toppin a strong opponent plus / minus and a speed difference.
Top Air: Rudy Gobert vs. Oklahoma City Thunder – $ 7,900 DraftKings, $ 8,800 FanDuel
Gobert has grabbed at least 20 tables in two in a row and set his first 20/20 game of the season on Wednesday against the Grizzlies. Tonight’s encounter with Oklahoma City’s abbreviated and active winning list should be a blessing for the NBA’s leading rebounder.
It is not surprising that Gobert has had big games against the Thunder this season, averaging 14.3 points, 18.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in three previous appearances. It gets a great Opponent Plus / Minus and Pace Differential and comes in at a very affordable price, especially on DraftKings.
Highest value: Hassan Whiteside vs. Oklahoma City – $ 3,600 DraftKings, $ 3,900 FanDuel
One Jazz Center is great, but why not make it twice as cool? Whiteside is one of the best fantasy players per minute this season and he put up 14/10 and four blocks against the Grizzlies in 18 minutes on Wednesday.
Utah is in favor with 16.5 tonight, and the blow means Whiteside would get more minutes left. At such a low price, it’s worth showing up at tournaments on FanDuel and DraftKings.
